Saving Energy And Safety Line takes the idea of this night-glow-lights a step further, by coming in the form of a sticky tape that can be easily put around counter-edges and furniture. Thus avoiding the hassle of turning on the lights for a trip to the fridge at night.

Is this being sold somewhere?

They use this all of the time in theaters so actors know where items or themselves are during a blackout. Most theater tech companies will sell it.

I work in the theater industry and we use a bulkier glow tape that shows white under light and doesn’t stick well. this seems like a great alternative.

I have a few questions, is this standard theatrical glo-tape, or is it transparent in day light. (seeing as it is invisible both on the black coffee table and on the white couch as well as the wood floor.) If so, the question above still remains is this product available for sale and where.
Also, does this tape need intense light to recharge the way that current theatrical tape does, and what is its effective lifespan?

This would definitely help during the night especially when there are lots of things lying around the place. My question is how long will it sustain a glow?

For those not aware, this is just a product mock up. It’s not actually in production, or available for purchase.
