The objective of the project was to design a chair that was inspired by the activities we enjoy when we are outside of class and not doing school work. The Pod is basically designed to provide an optimum lounging experience to the user which is why it comes fitted with a chaise lounge made up of 20 cylindrical cushions that cradle the user’s body in an ergonomic position. Inside, The Pod comes laced with an audio system fitted with 8 speakers, a flat screen TV and a shelf for storing a gaming console which makes it the perfect all-in-one gaming and entertainment space.

Cool Hanging Chair

The installation can be set up in parks, or even better, it can be used for camping purposes and even maybe as shelter space in some of those wildlife reserves that offer you a chance to stay overnight and experience the sights and sounds of the forest at night. The installation is simple and comes with wheels that allow you to quickly and effortlessly tug it away when you want it removed. The hanging ladders seem like a fun way to climb up into the Cambai and lighting installation on the inside should serve well even after sundowner. This cool contraption does offer a wonderful way to spend some time close to nature and maybe even share a beautiful sunset with someone you love.

This is a small sustainable park lighting solution, which can be easily installed in outer suburban areas of Melbourne. This product will most likely be positioned either side of a pathway in a grassy area. One of the main features of this small lighting product is that its overlapping form maximizes the light and projects it outwards onto the footpath. Sustainability played a major role in this project thus the materials and manufacturing of this light are as environmentally friendly as possible. The light is solely powered by a solar panel, uses 8 super bright LED’s, houses a 9V battery and a motion sensor. To ensure this light can be repaired the top of the light encompasses a canter lever hatch which means the main internals can be easily assessed.

Fantasy has become real time because  LED table that can certainly shame other tables. The LED table is basically an interactive lounge/living room table that can definitely accentuate the decor of your living space. The table top glows beautifully, thanks to an LED matrix. Furthermore, it even displays an array of information related to environment, temperature and sounds etc. This geeky table is decked with multiple features that can always keep you busy.

Made from polypropylene, this lamp gives soft directional lighting in order to enhance a particular area leaving great impact on the onlookers. This lamp can be hanged from the ceiling or mounted on a wall in order to enhance the beauty of particular painting at one corner. It produces intriguing shadows in warm light. It’s not like any another emblematic lamps, but an elegant illumination source that creates gentle effect in your living area. There are two pieces available, which can be assembled. You just have to fold, lock, insert and finally switch it on to get visually intriguing shadows.

Jane Scrivner have developed a strong luxury brand of skin-care therapy products, perfected over years of experience in the Health Spa industry.  Basing the innovative idea of the Orb SPAliance, the designer has actually initiated the creation of a multi dimensional, aesthetically pleasing device which can keep wax hot for a maximum of one hour. 

The Orb is crammed full of advanced technology, enabling it to perform a rather clever task. At the centre of the Orb is a revolutionary ‘phase-change material’ technology that ensures the wax remains heated throughout the therapy session. This is recharged using an elegant base station which includes an attractive ring of light to indicate the status of the heat cycle. The construction of the portable unit utilises ABS, Polypropylene and POM to cope with internal temperatures of over 120°C; ensure the product retains as much of the heat as possible; and resists the thermal cycling and chemical properties of the treatment waxes.
Criteria included comfortable to hold in one hand, beautiful form, reliable, safe, practical, continuous, portable and, most importantly, help deliver a meaningful and pleasurable experience to the customer.

Maffam Freeform uses Basalt fibers combined with ecoresin to create extremely lightweight and highly durable furniture pieces appropriate for interiors and exteriors – like the Manu Nest hanging chair here. The whole arrangement of ‘Tuttoscorre’ looks like a curvaceous river, flowing jubilantly and the sun, at horizon, playing with it. Sometimes, it hides itself in the water like a child and sometimes comes out in the open sky to play. The whole concept of ‘Tuttoscorre’ is very simple but unique and can easily become the centre of attraction, be it in your bedroom or living room.

The etched glass slab divides the sphere and these are kept together by simple use of magnets. The half sphere, which is placed behind the slab, is equipped with a neon bulb that is powered by a battery placed at a corner. The front half sphere controls the movement of light source and hence its intensity. You just need to scroll it along the glass slab. Whenever it requires charging, just scroll the controller to the corner.

Very interesting and original lamp has been created for swedish furniture manufacturer klong.  To modulate the light, 12 petals are laser cut with patters and divided into layers. The flexibility of the aero plywood allows the pieces to be attached to the birch armature with brass fixtures. ‘Knopp’ gets its name from a flower bud that is just about to bloom. This lamp can attract attention.
